UP signs rail infrastructure deal with German firm RAILONE

The Uttar Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany’s RAILONE GmbH for investment of Rs 2 billion in railway infrastructure development.

The collaboration is aimed at upgrading railway networks in the state through technology transfer and global expertise.

Officials said the agreement will support adoption of advanced systems and improve quality standards in rail infrastructure projects.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts to modernise transport infrastructure and strengthen connectivity across the state.
