Third edition of UP International Trade Show concludes in Greater Noida

The third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) concluded at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida with organisers saying the event set new benchmarks in scale and participation. The show drew representation from 80 countries and featured a wide range of products and services from across the state.

Chairman of the India Expo Centre & Mart, Rakesh Kumar, said the trade show had broken previous records in terms of international reach and business activity. He highlighted that the participation of 80 countries demonstrated the growing global interest in Uttar Pradesh’s industries and trade potential. According to him, the event provided a platform for entrepreneurs, exporters, and international buyers to engage directly, creating opportunities across diverse sectors.

Products from agriculture, handicrafts, textiles, food processing, MSMEs, and manufacturing were among those exhibited, along with items under the state government’s One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. Officials said the trade show served as a stage for promoting traditional crafts and local industries while also highlighting investment opportunities in emerging sectors.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, speaking at the closing session, described Uttar Pradesh as “unstoppable.” He credited the state’s rapid economic progress to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership.

“The journey of Uttar Pradesh from being a BIMARU state to a leading state today is the result of the double engine government. Uttar Pradesh is unstoppable,” Goyal said.

He added that improvements in infrastructure, connectivity, and law and order had helped make the state an attractive destination for investors. Goyal also called on people to support Swadeshi products and prioritise local goods.

Referring to the country’s economic growth, he said India had moved from being the world’s fourth-largest economy to being close to the third position.

Goyal praised the organisers and supporting agencies for their role in making the trade show a success. He mentioned the coordinated efforts of the Uttar Pradesh Export Promotion Council (UPEPC), the ODOP initiative, CM Yuva Mission, and India Expo Mart Limited (IEML) in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.

The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show has emerged as a key platform to showcase the state’s industrial strengths. With record participation from 80 countries in its third edition, officials said the event reflected the rising global demand for Uttar Pradesh’s products and expanding trade opportunities in the state.
