Haryana clears 10 industrial policies targeting Rs 5 lakh crore investment

The Haryana cabinet has approved 10 industrial and technology policies aimed at attracting investments worth Rs 5 lakh crore and generating around 10 lakh jobs over the next five years.

Officials said the policies focus on sectors including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, gaming and data centres.

A 500-acre electronics manufacturing cluster has also been planned at IMT Sohna.

Authorities said Gurugram would house a proposed Global AI Centre under the new policy framework, reported The Times of India.

The initiatives form part of Haryana’s broader strategy to position itself as a major technology and manufacturing destination.

Officials indicated that incentives and infrastructure support would be provided for emerging technology sectors.

The NCR-linked state has witnessed increasing competition for investments in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.

The development highlights growing efforts by states to attract high-value industrial and technology investments.
