New 33kV substation to enhance power supply in Greater Noida villages

A 33kV power substation is being constructed in Duriyai Kacheda, Dadri to improve electricity supply for more than a dozen villages in the Greater Noida region, officials said.

The Rs 35 crore project began on January 21 and is expected to boost the reliability of power for agriculture, homes and local industry in the area, reported The Times of India.

Villages expected to benefit from the improved supply include Girdharpur, Hathipur, Kheda and Bisnuli, officials said.

Authorities said the new substation will support development near key transit points such as the Dankaur railway station, and that the project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional infrastructure.
