Telangana to Attract Fortune 500 Firms to Bharat Future City Over Next 10 Years

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has unveiled plans to turn Bharat Future City into a global hub for Fortune 500 companies within the next decade.

Speaking at the foundation ceremony for the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) building and Radial Road-1 at Meerkhanpet, Reddy said that Hyderabad already hosts 85 Fortune 500 firms, but the government intends to relocate or attract all of them to Bharat Future City.

“The government’s goal is to bring all Fortune 500 companies to Bharat Future City over the next decade,” the Chief Minister said.

Reddy also outlined major infrastructure projects: a 12-lane expressway to Machilipatnam port, bullet train links to Amaravati, Chennai and Bengaluru, and metro connectivity to Hyderabad’s international airport.

Future City will include underground power lines, water supply systems, modern amenities, and a skill university. The FCDA building and university are expected to be completed by December.

The Chief Minister said he would personally work three days a month from the Future City office from December, with other ministers also visiting regularly to fast-track decisions.

Officials described the initiative as a key step in Telangana’s long-term urban development strategy, positioning Bharat Future City as a global investment hub.
