Ghaziabad plans ramps on Hindon Elevated Road to ease traffic

Authorities in Ghaziabad are planning to build two new ramps on the Hindon Elevated Road to improve connectivity and ease traffic movement in the area.

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) had sought Rs 112 crore for the project from the Uttar Pradesh government.

Officials said the ramps will be constructed near Vasundhara and Kanawani, providing better access for residents travelling to and from the elevated corridor.

Each ramp will be about 400 metres long and will have two lanes.

The ramps are expected to help reduce congestion and improve access for vehicles using the elevated road, reported The Times of India.

Authorities said the project will help improve connectivity for nearby residential areas while easing pressure on local roads.

Construction will begin after the tendering process is completed and the project is expected to be finished next year.
