QUAD IT project takes off at Technopark Phase IV in Thiruvananthapuram

Construction work has commenced on the QUAD project at Technopark Phase IV (Technocity) in Thiruvananthapuram, marking the start of a major IT infrastructure development in the capital city.

The first phase of the project includes an 8 lakh square feet IT building, which is scheduled to be completed within 36 months.

Officials said the project is expected to generate around 26,000 direct jobs once fully operational, reported The Times of India.

The QUAD project is being developed over 30 acres and is planned as a self-sufficient micro-township.

The development will include IT office space along with commercial facilities and residential zones.

Officials said Technopark Phase IV will also feature additional IT buildings developed under the co-developer model, along with commercial complexes and innovation hubs.

The project is aimed at strengthening Thiruvananthapuram’s position as a major IT destination.
