Haryana CM invites Tesla to set up EV plant in state

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday (November 6)invited electric vehicle maker Tesla to set up a manufacturing plant in Haryana, saying the state government will provide full support to promote electric mobility and attract global investment.

According to an official release, Saini handed over a copy of the Haryana Electric Vehicle Policy to Tesla representatives and said the state is rapidly emerging as a leader in the EV sector.

He said establishing a Tesla manufacturing unit in Haryana would help expand the company’s presence in India and make its vehicles more affordable and accessible to consumers.

Highlighting the state’s business-friendly environment, Saini said Haryana offers investors attractive incentives, robust infrastructure and world-class facilities that make it an ideal destination for industrial growth and innovation.

Saini added that Tesla’s presence in Haryana would further accelerate industrial and technological development.

During the meeting, Tesla Senior Director Isabelle Fan invited the Chief Minister to be the chief guest at the inauguration of India’s first integrated Tesla Centre in Gurugram on November 27.

The upcoming facility will include an experience centre, delivery centre, service centre, office space and supercharging station, all within a single campus.
