Pune: Proposal for Purandar airport land acquisition to be submitted soon

In Pune, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) to submit a proposal for funding the Purandar airport land acquisition before the next cabinet meeting, officials said.

The airport project is seen as a key step toward expanding regional air infrastructure and supporting future connectivity needs.

Officials said the submission of the funding proposal will enable further consideration of the land acquisition process required for the project.

The development forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen aviation infrastructure in the region.
