Six-lane Hindon bridge to cut Noida-Greater Noida travel time

A new 290-metre, six-lane bridge over the Hindon River is expected to open in September 2026, providing a faster route between Noida and Greater Noida while reducing congestion on some of the region’s busiest roads.

The bridge will connect Sector 146 Metro station on the Aqua Line with Knowledge Park 3 in Greater Noida.

Once operational, commuters will be able to bypass major bottlenecks, including the Noida Expressway, Pari Chowk and Surajpur-Kulesra Road, reported The Times of India.

Officials said the new link is expected to cut travel time significantly by providing a direct connection between residential sectors along the Noida Expressway and key destinations in Greater Noida, including LG Chowk, Gamma 1, Beta 1 and Surajpur.

The bridge is part of a broader programme to improve road connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida as traffic volumes continue to rise with rapid residential and commercial development in the region.
