Nagpur attracts Rs 10,880 crore investment at Advantage Vidarbha summit

Investment agreements worth Rs 10,880 crore were signed on the second day of the Advantage Vidarbha summit in Nagpur, officials said.

The investments position the city as a hub for sectors including clean energy, telecom manufacturing and urban healthcare.

The largest commitment came from Galaxy Solar Energy Pvt Ltd, which pledged Rs 10,080 crore to set up an integrated solar and battery energy storage manufacturing plant, reported The Times of India.

GR Infraprojects Limited signed a memorandum of understanding to invest Rs 200 crore in a telecom tower manufacturing facility.

Meanwhile, MahaMetro issued a Letter of Acceptance to Quality Care India Limited for the construction of a 350-plus bed multi-specialty hospital near Kasturchand Park Metro Station under a public-private partnership model, with investment exceeding Rs 600 crore.

Officials said the projects are expected to generate more than 6,000 jobs, with the hospital project scheduled for completion within three years.
