Srinagar to Host Kashmir Literature Festival 2025 on October 11–12

Srinagar will host the Kashmir Literature Festival (KLF) 2025 on 11–12 October, bringing together writers, poets, journalists, and artists to celebrate the region’s literary and cultural heritage.

Organised by the Srikula Foundation, the festival will take place at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre and feature over 50 speakers across diverse sessions on literature, history, art, and media.

Festival representative Naira Manzoor said KLF aims to “preserve and promote Kashmir’s literary traditions while providing a platform for emerging voices”.

The event will include panel discussions, poetry readings, book launches, and cultural performances, along with a book fair and art exhibition highlighting the Valley’s creativity and craftsmanship.

Organiser Jehanzeb Allaqband described the event as “a celebration of words, ideas, and dialogue” that connects communities and showcases Kashmir’s cultural depth to a global audience.
