Godrej bags Greater Noida land parcel for Rs 7,000 crore housing project

Godrej Properties has emerged as the highest bidder for a 23.2-acre residential land parcel in Greater Noida and plans to develop a large group-housing project with an estimated revenue potential of more than Rs 7,000 crore.

The company secured the parcel through an e-auction conducted by DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL).

Officials said the project will comprise premium residential apartments across multiple configurations.

The land parcel is located within the DMIC Integrated Township region, one of the fastest-growing urban corridors linked to the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar.

Authorities and market analysts said airport-led infrastructure expansion continues to drive investor interest across Greater Noida and surrounding regions.

The acquisition forms part of Godrej Properties’ ongoing strategy to expand its residential development portfolio in high-growth urban markets.

Real-estate activity has accelerated across the Greater Noida-Jewar corridor because of planned connectivity upgrades and logistics infrastructure investments.

Officials indicated that project planning and development activities would be undertaken in phases.

The development highlights continuing investment momentum in NCR’s airport-linked urban growth corridors.
