Nashik clears Rs 3,659.47 crore for outer ring road ahead of Kumbh

The Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority on Friday approved administrative clearance of Rs 3,659.47 crore for the 66.15 km ‘Nashik Parikrama’ outer ring road project.

The route, beginning and ending at Adgaon, will connect key junctions including DRDO Junction, Dindori Road, Gangapur Road and Trimbak Road, reported The Times of India.

The Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) will implement the project.

Officials said tenders will be issued shortly, with a deadline of March 2027, ensuring completion before the Simhastha Kumbh Mela scheduled for 2026–28.
