Vibrant Gujarat 2027: CM Bhupendra Patel invites investors to state

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday invited entrepreneurs, business leaders and domestic and global investors to invest in the state, highlighting opportunities in manufacturing, new technologies and green energy.

Addressing a curtain-raiser for the 11th Vibrant Gujarat summit in New Delhi, Patel said Gujarat offers stable policy, talented youth, effective governance, scale and transparency.

The three-day 11th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 will be held from January 10 to 12, 2027, in Gandhinagar. The theme of the summit is “Viksit Gujrat – Shaping Global future.”

Patel said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is for Gujarat to be seen not merely as an investment destination but as a growth engine for the country.

He said the State government has realised this vision on the ground and is working to make Gujarat the soft power of the country.

Patel added that the government is promoting green hydrogen and green energy and has introduced sector-specific, holistic policies to promote ease of doing business.

Referring to the ‘Saptdhara’, or seven streams of development, announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the ramparts of the Red Fort during his Independence Day speech, Patel said it covers key sectors including agriculture, food processing, technology and innovation.

He said these sectors will receive further impetus through the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, who was also present on the occasion, said Gujarat has transformed itself in line with future requirements and has emerged as one of the country’s leading investment destinations.

He said Gujarat has developed a strong investment ecosystem, supported by close linkages between entrepreneurs and investors.

Mandaviya said Gujarat offers opportunities across various sectors and described the semiconductor industry as a sunrise sector with significant growth potential.

The Vibrant Gujarat summit has evolved as one of the most reputed global forums for business networking, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships for inclusive growth and sustainable development.

The Vibrant Gujarat initiative was conceptualised in 2003 under the leadership of Narendra Modi, then Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Over the years, the summit has expanded from an investment-focused event into a broad platform connecting governments, multinational corporations, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, academics and innovators.

The Vibrant Gujarat model is designed to connect overseas governments and companies with Gujarat’s industrial ecosystem.
