MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 attracts Rs 40,000 crore investment, says CM Yadav

The Madhya Pradesh Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 has paved the way for investments of nearly Rs 40,000 crore and more than 34,000 employment opportunities in the state, chief minister Mohan Yadav said.

Addressing the event on Monday, Yadav said India is giving the world a new direction across sectors and that Madhya Pradesh is playing a significant role in the country’s development journey. He described MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 as an important milestone in the state’s growth.

Yadav said the state government had fulfilled all its commitments during MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0, which concluded on Monday.

“Fifty-one major activities were completed during the MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0, which paved the way for investments of approximately Rs 40,000 crore and over 34,000 employment opportunities,” the CM said.

According to a statement, the last two editions of the tech growth conclave have brought investment proposals worth Rs 46,000 crore. Since the Global Investors Summit 2025, investments of more than Rs 12,000 crore have materialised in the technology sector, Yadav said.

During the same period, 22 new industrial units were inaugurated and the foundation was laid for four new projects, the statement said.

Yadav said the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to supporting industries of all sizes, including those in AI, data centres and semiconductors, and will provide all possible assistance to industry groups.

He said the state is making rapid progress in science city, AI, deep tech park and data centres. The government is also working continuously to promote innovation, research, skill development and academic collaboration across sectors, including AI.

Yadav said Madhya Pradesh offers a conducive environment for industries, enabling people to realise their full potential.

The MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 will play an important role in the state’s development, he said. The statement added that the state government is committed to ensuring the full utilisation of the abilities and potential of young people while providing them with adequate employment opportunities.

Yadav also said foreign investment in Madhya Pradesh is no longer limited to MoUs (Memorandums of Understanding) and is now taking shape on the ground.

According to the statement, investment projects worth more than Rs 28,200 crore from 10 major companies across eight countries, including Spain, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Ireland and Indo-German cooperation, are currently in the ground-breaking phase in the state.

These include an AI-ready data centre in Bhopal by Spain’s Submar India Pvt Ltd, a nearly Rs 20,000 crore food processing unit by Canada’s McCain Foods, a Rs 3,800 crore food processing unit by Helion (GSK) of the UK, and a Rs 1,100 crore speciality films unit by Japan’s Topan Speciality Films, the statement said.

The statement added that these investment projects are providing fresh momentum to industrial development, strengthening digital infrastructure and generating employment across the state.
