Andhra Pradesh fast-tracks 10,500-acre Kris City industrial hub

Work on the Kris City industrial hub in Andhra Pradesh is being accelerated as part of the state’s infrastructure plans.

Spread across 10,500 acres, the project is being developed as a smart industrial city linked to larger economic corridors.

The first phase covers 2,100 acres, with Rs 350 crore already spent, while the total allocation stands at Rs 1,200 crore, reported The Times of India.

Infrastructure planned under the project includes roads, drainage systems, power supply, housing and social facilities.

Connectivity to the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor forms a key component of the development.

The project is aimed at supporting industrial growth and strengthening infrastructure in the region.
