PM Modi launches Rs 2,700 crore projects to boost Puducherry infra

Prime minister Narendra Modi has launched on Sunday development projects worth Rs 2,700 crore in Puducherry to support economic growth and infrastructure development.

The projects cover sectors including urban services, industrial development, education, healthcare and sustainability.

Key initiatives include development of an IT park, improvements in textile infrastructure and expansion of public services.

The projects also include the launch of e-bus services to strengthen public transport systems.

Officials said the initiatives are aimed at supporting inclusive development and modernising infrastructure across the region.
