Lucknow IT City project advances with plot allotment

The Lucknow Development Authority is set to carry out plot allotment for its IT City project on Saturday, February 28, marking progress in the development of the planned township.

In the first phase, 870 residential plots will be allotted to 336 farmers who contributed land under the land pooling scheme.

The project is being developed over approximately 3,500 acres along Sultanpur Road and includes residential zones as well as an IT hub near Bakkas village, reported The Times of India.

Officials said plots for land pooling beneficiaries will be provided free of cost, while remaining plots will be offered later for public purchase.

The project is part of efforts to develop integrated urban infrastructure and support planned expansion in the city.
