Delhi launches 51 Arogya Mandirs, moves towards 1,100 target

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated 51 Arogya Mandirs in the city, bringing the total number to 370, officials said.

The government has set a target of establishing 1,100 Arogya Mandirs across Delhi.

These neighbourhood health centres provide services including free diagnostics, cancer screening, vaccination and maternal care, reported The Times of India.

Gupta also announced Rs 322 crore worth of development projects in Chhatarpur, which include road improvements, drainage upgrades and new school infrastructure.

Plans were also outlined for elevated road projects and a double-decker flyover aimed at addressing traffic congestion in the area.
