Telangana Approves Rs 25,631 Crore Infrastructure Push for Hyderabad

• Rs 25,631 crore allocated to improve roads, water and sewerage systems
• Elevated corridor and EV-friendly public transport part of plan
• Aim to support real estate and urban expansion across Hyderabad

The Telangana government has approved projects worth Rs 25,631 crore to strengthen Hyderabad’s urban infrastructure and boost real estate growth.

The announcement was made during the 15th NAREDCO Telangana property show, where the government outlined its focus on sustainable urban development.

Out of the total allocation, Rs 11,927 crore will go towards improving water supply and sewerage systems, while Rs 13,704 crore will be used for major roadworks, including widening, flyovers, and an elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to the National Highway.

Officials said the initiative is designed to reduce congestion and improve connectivity between residential and business districts.

The government also plans to expand EV infrastructure by incentivising electric vehicle adoption in public transport and residential projects.

State authorities have urged real estate developers to balance luxury and affordable housing to ensure inclusive growth.

With several global firms setting up offices in Hyderabad, the infrastructure boost is expected to strengthen the city’s position as a preferred investment hub.
