CM Nitish Kumar Launches Projects Worth Rs 8,911 Crore

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched development projects worth Rs 8,911 crore across Katihar and Madhubani districts, covering a wide spectrum of infrastructure, education, and healthcare initiatives.

According to government officials, the projects include new and upgraded roads, bridges, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. These works are expected to improve connectivity, expand access to public services, and generate employment opportunities for local populations.

Nitish Kumar emphasised that balanced development across regions remains a top priority for the state government. He highlighted that both Katihar and Madhubani, which are economically and culturally significant districts, will benefit from long-term growth once these projects are implemented.

Local residents and representatives welcomed the announcements, noting that road connectivity and health infrastructure had been long-standing demands in these areas. The projects are also aligned with the state’s broader focus on improving rural infrastructure and service delivery.

The Chief Minister urged officials to ensure timely implementation and accountability in execution, stressing that the benefits of development must reach citizens directly.
